First of all, a very Happy Thanksgiving to you. By my calculations, it is probably about dinnertime, ET. Here, it's almost time to sleep.

Secondly, I have just spent the last four months unable to edit anything on this website, and have just regained my email access in the last couple weeks, which means that I was spending a lot of my time trying to write a massive number of emails in a half hour in computer labs, on borrowed computers and the like. Pain in the neck. Anyhow, I'm baaaaaack.

Thirdly, I probably should debrief you. I am living here in Munich now, where winter is on its way, and it is freaking cold here. I am taking four classes here at the university, which is a bit of a challenge, but considering that I am only taking one for credit, it's all right.

I have my very own cozy Wohnzimmer in the dormitories. It took me a while to get used to it, though! Got my own TV and other necessities of life, like a CD player and other gizmos like that Turbo-Cooker thingy. The latter took me a while to figure out, though.

I'm starting my research, sort of. One step at a time.
